Log InAlbum Description
A carefully proportioned ensemble study presented through the Red Note Records framework. Kitchen Cartographies examines collective behavior through an imagined domestic interior where musical interaction unfolds as spatial mapping rather than performance spectacle. The project is conceived through human artistic direction with artificial intelligence functioning strictly as a formal analytical and generative instrument. Its role is limited to examining pattern distribution, ensemble proportion, structural pacing, and long form balance across the recording.
Artificial intelligence operates as a subordinate tool within a historically aware aesthetic framework shaped by human judgment and curatorial intent. The resulting work should be understood not as documentation of a studio session but as a conceptual ensemble document in which instrumental relationships are arranged, tested, and refined as compositional architecture.
Across the album the ensemble behaves like a coordinated system of small movements, crossings, and convergences, producing a controlled yet fluid field where restraint and interaction determine the musical terrain.
