Stand Still presents a single sustained argument rather than a collection of pieces. The recording is conceived as a controlled field of pressure where balance, spacing, and internal proportion determine every decision. Materials are introduced sparingly, allowed to interact, then held in place until their relationships become audible. Movement is implied through contrast rather than momentum, and density is treated as a structural variable rather than an expressive climax.

This work is a conceptual ensemble recording shaped through human artistic direction and artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is employed strictly as a formal analytical and generative instrument, used to examine pattern, proportion, ensemble behavior, and long form balance. It operates in service to historical awareness and aesthetic judgment, never as an autonomous author. The resulting document is framed as an archival construction, attentive to restraint and collective logic rather than performance display.
